In 2019 the Bauhaus, the most influential design and architecture school of the 20th century, celebrate its 100th anniversary. The two Bauhaus architects Georg Muche and Richard Paulick built the experimental Stahlhaus in Dessau as early as 1927. Here, prefabricated and insulated steel plates were used for the façade for the first time. This makes the Bauhaus a pioneer of today's sandwich construction method.
