As a leading manufacturer of lightweight metal construction, we have been producing innovative, energy-efficient and sustainable construction elements made of steel for the entire industrial and commercial construction sector at our Brehna site since 1991. We have been providing training since our founding and have since been able to help many young people get off to the best possible start in their careers. The majority of our trainees remain with the company after successfully passing their exams and work here, for example, in purchasing, sales, logistics and even in management!

Erasmus+ is an EU program to promote cooperation between educational institutions and mobility of individuals in the field of vocational education. The program is aimed at apprentices and vocational students. With Erasmus+ you can do an internship abroad during your education for several weeks in Europe. This way, you can acquire new professional skills and job-related foreign language skills - an ideal preparation for working in an international company like ArcelorMittal Construction!

As our corporate language is English, a good knowledge of the language is essential. We were therefore happy to enable our trainee Anike to complete a 14-day language internship in Malta through the ERASMUS program. After the interesting work in a real estate office, there was enough time to explore the small island and enjoy the amenities of island life.
Anike herself says: "Unfortunately, my internship abroad went by far too quickly. I am very grateful to ArcelorMittal for making it possible for me to work abroad for two weeks. I was warmly welcomed by the employees there and was given an understanding of working life. I was able to gain many new impressions and experiences that will certainly be useful to me back home in Brehna."
